Sustainable building materials? Consider reclaim.

With the current economic climate and the need to 'be green', there has been an increased interest in the use of reclaimed materials.
By using reclaimed materials as part of your project, you are re-using a waste product and therefore maintaining a low carbon footprint (especially if these materials have been sourced locally.)
Designers, architects and landscapers are all becoming increasingly interested in the use of reclaimed products and if you are in the process of making a planning application they should be considered for their sustainability and the instant character you can achieve.
It is important to consider the use of reclaimed materials at the very beginning of your project - this way your reclamation yard can source the best quantity, quality (and price) available.
Most reclaim yards will be more than happy to help you match what you are looking for, even if you only have an idea or a cut-out from a lifestyle magazine. We can provide free quotes, site visits, product matching and ideas or advice on how to re-purpose or adapt these materials for your individual needs.
